Educator - Performer - Musical Director

Educator

Ed is a Singing Teacher, Conductor, Baritone and Examiner -  well known as an established teacher and educator. He is Head of Choral Music and a Singing Teacher at Tring Park School for the Peforming Arts, a Deputy Vocal Teacher at the Royal College of Music Junior Department and an examiner for Trinity College London.

He is on the board of the European Voice Teachers Association and Past Chair of The Association of Teachers of Singing having led the association from 2022 - 2024.

 

Ed has an MA in Music Education and is a specialist in working with boys' changing voices. He presents at conferences and leads workshops and teacher training courses and is a judge on. the Music and Drama Awards (25 and 26). He also teaches privately from his home in Watford and online by request.

Performer

With a background in professional performance, Ed has a deep understanding of both the classical and musical theatre industry and enjoys helping professional performers develop their singing.

 

Musical Director

Ed is Head of Choral Music at Tring Park School for the  Performing Arts. He is also Musical director of the Bucks County Youth Choir and ACOV (The Aylesbury Consort of Voices).
